At this time Juniper Meadow Therapy does not take any insurances. However, we can compile a super bill for an additional charge of $50 on your behalf for you to submit to your insurance company for out of networks service reimbursement.

    Do you accept insurance?

No at this time we do not accept any insurance.

This is due to current levels of insurance reimbursement rates along with concerns with continuity of care. I do not believe that a third party has the right to dictate your level of comfort and treatment throughout therapeutic interventions. That is between you and your Clinician.

Do you offer in person sessions?

No, in person sessions are not offered at this time.

Why do you not offer any in person sessions?

This is due to two reasons. The primary reason is barrier to entrance of services. Seeking mental health intervention is often stigmatized, and people will often forgo any chance of help, for fear of being identified as in need of help. Having teletherapy services in the comfort of one’s own home, or other comfortable private location, allows clients to engage in services without having to face any form of stigmatization. Secondly, commercial rentals are quite expensive, allowing me to keep prices down for clients.

    Do you prescribe medication?

No, I am not qualified to prescribe medication. There may be times in sessions that medication is mentioned, please seek your primary prescriber for any medication questions of side effects.

I'm interested in the DBT intensives, how do I sign up for those?

At this time DBT intensives are to be scheduled at a later date. Please utilize the contact page to be put on the waiting list for DBT intensives.
